1st Pole Class vs 10th Pole Class

Walking into Your First Pole Class vs Your 10th Class

Your First Pole Class: The Awkward Penguin

Picture this: You're stepping into the studio for your first pole class, a bundle of excitement and nervous energy. Your outfit is fresh, your water bottle is full, and your grip is poised—at least until you realize you've left your nerves in control.

The Outfit: You spent hours deciding what to wear. You settled on that perfect pair of shorts and a tank top, which you now realize might be a little too revealing for your comfort.

The Pole: It looks deceptively simple. "How hard could this be?" you think. Spoiler: Pretty hard. You approach it like it's an alien artifact, unknown and slightly intimidating.

The Moves: The instructor demonstrates a basic spin. It looks graceful and effortless. You attempt it and end up looking like a squirrel escaping from a rabid cat.

The Confidence: You try to channel your inner Beyoncé, but your inner jellyfish seems to have come along for the ride instead.

Your 10th Pole Class: The Confident Peacock

Now, fast forward to your tenth class. You've come a long way from that awkward penguin stage and are stepping in with the swagger of a peacock who just discovered a new feather.

The Outfit: You've nailed the balance between functional and fabulous. You've got your favorite grip-enhancing shorts, and you're no longer worried about flashing more than your teeth.

The Pole: It's no longer an alien artifact. It's your dance partner, and you've named it Fred. Fred and you, you've been through some things, and you survived to tell the tale.

The Moves: You're no longer aiming for just spinning. Oh no, you're climbing, you're inverting, and you're doing things you didn't even think your body was capable of. The squirrel? Let’s just say that cat never caught it.

The Confidence: Beyoncé would be proud. You strut in, probably throw in a hair flip for good measure, and glide towards Fred as if you’ve been doing it your whole life.

Final Thoughts

Your first pole class versus your tenth is a transformation from anxiety to artistry. It’s like going from playing the triangle in a school band to shredding a guitar solo in front of an adoring crowd. So, keep twirling, keep spinning, and most importantly, keep laughing—it's the best way to hang on to the pole when the going gets slippery!
