Step out of your day and into stillness.

Sound Healing in Hammocks is a deeply restorative, one-hour experience designed to help you slow down, soften your nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of inner balance. Suspended comfortably in one of our hammocks, you’ll be fully supported as gentle sound waves move through the body, inviting rest on a physical, mental, and energetic level.

During this class, a guest sound healer will guide you through a meditative sound journey using crystal singing bowls. These tones and vibrations are intentionally layered to encourage relaxation, stress release, and a sense of grounding — allowing your body to settle without effort or movement.

This is not a workout or a traditional class format. There is no stretching, no sequences to follow, and nothing to “do.” Instead, you’re invited to simply rest, breathe, and receive. Many clients describe this experience as deeply calming, emotionally clearing, and surprisingly expansive — like floating out the door afterward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience with sound healing or hammocks?

Not at all. This experience is beginner-friendly and fully guided. You’ll be comfortably supported in your hammock the entire time, with no movement or participation required.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, cozy clothing — similar to what you’d wear to relax or meditate. Layers are recommended, as your body temperature may drop as you settle into deep rest. Feel free to bring a blanket, pillow, or anything you need to relax

Will we be moving or exercising during class?

No. This is a completely passive experience. You’ll remain resting in your hammock while the sound healer guides the session using crystal singing bowls.

Is this class good if I’m feeling stressed or overwhelmed?

Yes — this experience is especially supportive if you’re feeling mentally busy, emotionally drained, or physically fatigued. Many clients find it deeply calming for the nervous system.

Are hammocks comfortable and secure?

Yes. Hammocks are professionally installed and designed to provide full-body support. Teachers will assist with setup to ensure you feel safe and comfortable before the session begins.

Can I attend if I’m pregnant or have an injury?

This class is generally gentle, but we recommend checking with your healthcare provider if you’re pregnant or managing a medical condition. You’re always welcome to reach out to the studio ahead of time with specific questions.

Is this included in my membership or class package?

No. Sound Healing in Hammocks is a specialty offering and is not included in regular class packages or memberships. A separate purchase is required.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in, get comfortable in your hammock, and fully transition into a relaxed state before the session begins.
